成年人首次觸網(wǎng)年齡持續(xù)走低

Chinese children are surfing the web earlier in life, with almost 75% saying they first used the internet before the age of 10, up significantly from 55.9% in 2010, a study has found.

一項(xiàng)研究發(fā)現(xiàn)，我國(guó)兒童觸網(wǎng)年齡走低，近75%的兒童稱自己10歲前首次觸網(wǎng)，這一數(shù)字比2010年的55.9%有了顯著增加。

The Annual Report on Internet Use and Reading Practice of Chinese Minors (2017-18), released last Monday, said 98.1% of students under the age of 18 have browsed the internet.

上周一發(fā)布的《中國(guó)未成年人互聯(lián)網(wǎng)運(yùn)用和閱讀實(shí)踐報(bào)告(2017-2018)》指出，18歲以下學(xué)生的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)運(yùn)用率高達(dá)98.1%。

The study, carried out by several organizations led by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences'Media Research Center, shows children from urban areas start using the internet earlier than their rural peers.

由中國(guó)社會(huì)科學(xué)院媒體研究中心領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的幾個(gè)組織開(kāi)展的這項(xiàng)研究表明，城市地區(qū)的孩子比農(nóng)村同齡人要更早開(kāi)始使用互聯(lián)網(wǎng)。

The report also found that those from single-parent households and those whose parents do not hold college degrees all tend to use the internet at a younger age.

該報(bào)告還發(fā)現(xiàn)，單親家庭和父母無(wú)大學(xué)學(xué)歷的孩子觸網(wǎng)年齡往往更早。

64.2% of primary school students owned cellphones, while the rate for middle and high school students was 71.3% and 86.9%, respectively.

在小學(xué)生、初中生和高中生群體中，擁有手機(jī)的學(xué)生比例分別為64.2%、71.3%和86.9%。

Though more than half of the respondents said the internet had helped them with their studies, almost 30% said they surf the internet for unrelated content while studying, the report said.

該報(bào)告稱，盡管超半數(shù)受訪者稱互聯(lián)網(wǎng)對(duì)自己的學(xué)習(xí)起到了促進(jìn)的作用，但近30%的人稱自己會(huì)在學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中上網(wǎng)瀏覽與學(xué)習(xí)無(wú)關(guān)的內(nèi)容。

Zhong Fuhai, a teacher at a rural primary school in Macheng, Hubei province, said early exposure to the internet is common at his school.

湖北省麻城市一所農(nóng)村小學(xué)的教師仲?gòu)?fù)海表示，在他的學(xué)校里，早早接觸互聯(lián)網(wǎng)是很常見(jiàn)的。

"I don't regard mobile phones as being necessary for kids, even for middle school students," he said.

他說(shuō)：“我不認(rèn)為手機(jī)對(duì)孩子來(lái)說(shuō)是必要的，即使對(duì)于中學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)也是如此。”
