HEY GUYS! I began my comic ZOODRAWS in early 2020. I set out to draw some lesser-known animal facts in relatable ways. Sometimes that includes a Scarface reference, but that's okay.

嘿,伙計(jì)們!我是在2020年初開(kāi)始畫(huà)漫畫(huà)的。我開(kāi)始用相關(guān)的方式描繪一些不太為人所知的動(dòng)物事實(shí)。有時(shí)還會(huì)提到刀疤臉，但沒(méi)關(guān)系。

Ever since I was a kid, I've always viewed wildlife through an empathetic lens. Just knowing that a mother wolf spider carries her hundreds of spider babies on her back. Somebody buy that Mama a drink! Or how unfair is it that a group of crows is called a "MURDER"? Who even decided that? It's bad PR and they deserve better.

從我還是個(gè)孩子的時(shí)候起，我就一直用同情的眼光看待野生動(dòng)物。只知道一只母狼蛛背上背著幾百只蜘蛛寶寶。誰(shuí)給那個(gè)媽媽買(mǎi)杯飲料!一群烏鴉被稱(chēng)為“謀殺”有多不公平?是誰(shuí)決定的?這是糟糕的公關(guān)，它們應(yīng)該得到更好的。

My favorite thing about working on Zoodraws is the amount of new knowledge I gain when I research an animal, and I gain even more respect for it. Seeing so many readers all around the globe express the same sentiment, while having a good laugh, makes me happy. I hope to now compile these "sometimes appropriate" animal fact illustrations into a book to both educate and entertain!

在zoodraw工作中，我最喜歡的事情是，當(dāng)我研究動(dòng)物時(shí)，我獲得了大量的新知識(shí)，我甚至對(duì)它更加尊重?？吹绞澜绺鞯氐淖x者都表達(dá)著同樣的情感，開(kāi)懷大笑讓我很開(kāi)心。我希望現(xiàn)在把這些“有時(shí)合適”的動(dòng)物事實(shí)插圖匯編成一本書(shū)，既教育又娛樂(lè)!
