一、描述一個(gè)舊物

Describe an old thing or antique your family has kept at home for a long time

You should say:

1. what it is

2. how your family first got it

3. why it is important for your family

1. A gold ring with a ruby on top .it is the heirloom in my family, which has been

passed on for generations. I have been told that the ring was handmade by a gifted

handyman and was used as the wedding ring for my great grandparents.

2. The ring is always inherited by the youngest son as a family gift to his wife. my

father , the youngest among his brothers , was lucky enough to own this treasure .now

it was passed on to me , on my wedding day , many years ago .

1. Although the ring doesn't look fancy as those big diamonds. But behind it, there is a

romantic story. it is said that when my great grandparents got married , they didn’t

have the approval from the family , so , at that time the marriage was not blessed , and

neither of them gained any help from the family .they were in a hard time ,and it’s

hard for them to make the ends meet . but my great grandpa was a great man, thinking

his wife deserves everything the best , so he made a deal with the handyman-he

became an apprentice for not even a penny but a wedding ring , the one his wife

favored . Day and night, he worked hard on it , and the ring became the gift on their 4

fourth anniversary .

2. It means much to me. It's not just a ring but the best wish from my long passed

ancestor .it is about love.

3. Centuries past, the ring is still there, I am just so lucky to have it.

二、描述一個(gè)不喜歡的電影

Describe a movie you disliked

You should say

1. what is it

2. where you watched this film

3. why you choose to watch this film

4. why you dislike it

1. Mum and dad, a horror movie released in 2008.

2. It was not authorized to be put on the big screen. I watched it alone on my TV, last

year.

3. The name was attractive .it was recommended by the DVD store owner , he

suggested it was something out of control .for a person seeking for excitement , that

was exactly what I needed. After paying the bill, I was expecting a good time.

4. Admittedly, I had never watched anything worse than that, it was superficial,

disgusting, extremely bloody, and even for audience who watched thousands of

horrors, it was still unbearable. Actually, I couldn't imagine any crew was capable for

that. In the movie , a poor girl was sexually harassed and tortured by the members of a

family , not exaggeratedly , the movie was a work of devil ,it's full of sexual abuse,

showing dark sides of mankind ,especially when they cut the throat of the pathetic

girl .

I was forwarding the movie all the time, honestly, there was no highlight. It was just

the rough-made, the waste of time.
