Learn to Love
love is my weapon to open the hearts of men. Love is also my shield to repulse the arrows of hate and the spears of anger. Adversity and discouragement will beat against my new shield and become as the softest of rains .My shield will protect me in the market place and sustain me when i am alone. It will uplift me in moments of despair yet it will calm me in time of exultation. It will become stronger and more protective with use until one day i will cast it aside and walk unencumbered among all manners of men and ,when i do, my name will be raise high on the pyramid of life.
And how will i confront each whom i meet? In only one way. In silence and to myfelf i will address him and say i love you . Though spoken in silence these words will shine in my eyes, unwrinkle my brow, bring a smile to my lips, and echo in my voice; and his heart will be opened.
And most of all , i will love myself. For when i do i will zealously inspect all things which enter my body, my mind, my soul, and my heart. Never will i overindulge the requests of my flesh ,rather i will cherish my body with cleanliness and moderation. Never will i allow my mind to be attracted to evil and despair, rather i will uplift it with the knowledge and wisdom of the ages. Never will i allow my heart to become small and bitter i will share it and it will grow and warm the earth.
愛(ài)是我打開人們心扉的鑰匙，也是我抵擋仇恨之箭與憤怒之矛的盾牌。愛(ài)使挫折變得如春雨般溫和，它是我商場(chǎng)上的護(hù)身符：孤獨(dú)時(shí)。給我支持；絕望時(shí)，使我振作；狂喜時(shí)，讓我平靜。這種愛(ài)心會(huì)一天天加強(qiáng)．越發(fā)又有保護(hù)力，直到有一天,我可以自然地面對(duì)蕓蕓眾生，處之泰然。
我該怎樣面對(duì)遇到的每一個(gè)人呢？只有一種辦法，我要在心里默默地為他祝福。這無(wú)言的愛(ài)會(huì)閃現(xiàn)在我的眼神里，流露在我的眉宇間，讓我嘴角掛上微笑，在我的聲音里響起共鳴。在這無(wú)奈的愛(ài)意里.
最主要的，我要愛(ài)自己。只有這樣，我才會(huì)認(rèn)真檢查進(jìn)入我的身體，思想，精神，頭腦，靈魂，心懷的一切東西.我絕不放縱肉體的需求，我要用清潔與節(jié)制來(lái)珍惜 我的身體。我絕不讓頭腦受到邪惡與絕望的引誘，我要用智慧和知識(shí)使之升華。我要用沉思和祈禱來(lái)滋潤(rùn)它。我絕不讓心懷狹窄，我要與人分享，使它成長(zhǎng)，溫暖整 個(gè)世界。
