Donny在北京學(xué)中文，他的中國(guó)朋友要是遇到了不知道用美語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)的詞，就會(huì)來(lái)請(qǐng)教他。今天是吳瓊要問(wèn)的：跑龍?zhí)?群眾演員。

Donny: Hey，吳瓊，did you watch the 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony?

WQ: Yes, I did. What about you?

Donny：No, but I heard it was awesome. Did you like it?

WQ: 嗯，我挺喜歡的，但是我真替那些跑龍?zhí)椎挠X(jué)得累。

Donny: 跑龍?zhí)椎模縴ou mean the extras or the walk-ons?

WQ: 對(duì)， 就是參加表演，但鏡頭不多的群眾演員。還真挺形象的，extra--多余的，walk-on--在臺(tái)上走來(lái)走去的，就是跑龍?zhí)椎摹?br />
Donny: Exactly, but they are very important, as well.

WQ: 賺錢(qián)少，工作時(shí)間又長(zhǎng)，真的很辛苦，而且他們中很多人其實(shí)都很多才多藝。

Donny: You're right. As a matter of fact, many famous actors started out as extras.

WQ: 沒(méi)錯(cuò)，很多大腕兒都是從跑龍?zhí)组_(kāi)始。對(duì)了，"大腕兒" 美語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)?

Donny: 大腕兒是 Big Shot. B-I-G, big, S-H-O-T, shot， big-shot.

WQ: Big shot! 這個(gè)好記。唉，我也好想當(dāng)明星?。】墒且晕疫@樣的條件，最多也只能當(dāng)個(gè)替身。那 Donny,替身又該怎么說(shuō)呢？

Donny: 替身是 "stunt-double." Stunt-doubles are used when special skills are needed for a performance, for example, playing the piano, dancing or car racing.

WQ: stunt是特技，所以 stunt-double 就是替身。糟糕，這些特技我一個(gè)都不會(huì)，看來(lái)，我連替身演員 stunt-double 都做不成！
