四、指示代詞

指示代詞是表示“這個(gè)”、“那個(gè)”、“這些”“那些”等指人或事物的代詞。有this，that，these，those.“this，that”指代或修飾單數(shù)名詞，“these，those”指代或修飾復(fù)數(shù)名詞。

（一）指示代詞有單數(shù)和復(fù)數(shù)兩種形式。

this/that是單數(shù)，后面接動(dòng)詞的單數(shù)形式。

This is a picture. This picture is nice.這是圖片，這張圖片很漂亮。

That is a school. That school is very big.那是學(xué)校，那所學(xué)校很大。

Did you know that ？那個(gè)你知道嗎？

these/those是復(fù)數(shù)，后面接動(dòng)詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式。

These are apples. These red apples are sweet.這些是蘋(píng)果。這些紅蘋(píng)果是甜的。

Those are oranges. Those green oranges are sour.那是橘子。那些青的橘子是酸的。

（二）指示代詞this，these是指離自己比較近的人或物，that，those 是指離自己較遠(yuǎn)的人或物。

（三）that指已經(jīng)發(fā)生的事情或說(shuō)過(guò)的話。

1.—I'm sorry.I'm late.抱歉，我遲到了。

— That's all right.沒(méi)關(guān)系。

2.—I'm going to visit Shanghai Museum next week.我下周要去上海博物館參觀。

— That's nice！太好了！

（四）This is ...（介紹用語(yǔ)）這是……

Hello！ This is my sister.Her name is May.你好！這是我的妹妹，她叫梅。

Tips：

我們?cè)诖螂娫挄r(shí)，通常用This is ...或Is that ...？

Hello， this is Tom.你好！這是湯姆。（指打電話的人）

Is that Mark's mother？你是馬克的媽媽嗎？（指接電話的人）
