二、不定冠詞的特殊位置

1.“as/so/too/how/however+adj.+a+單數(shù)名詞”句式中

Peter is as good a cook as Jim.彼得與吉姆是一樣好的廚師。

Jennifer is not so smart a girl as I thought.詹尼弗不像我認(rèn)為的那么機(jī)靈。

Mary is too young a girl to be left by herself at home.瑪麗太小不能把她單獨(dú)留在家里。

How good a book it is！ 這是多好的一本書(shū)??！

2.位于such之后

I have never seen such an animal.我從來(lái)沒(méi)有看見(jiàn)過(guò)這樣的動(dòng)物。

I know such a clever boy.我認(rèn)識(shí)如此聰明的一個(gè)男孩。

I know so clever a boy.

3.“many a+單數(shù)名詞”句式中

Many a man is fit for the job.許多人能做這份工作。

Many a student has made that mistake before.許多學(xué)生犯過(guò)那個(gè)錯(cuò)誤。

Many a boy enjoys swimming.許多男生喜歡游泳。

a good/great many boys enjoy swimming.

4.rather，quite 句式中

He has a rather comfortable house.他有一幢相當(dāng)舒適的房子。

He has rather a comfortable house.

He has rather comfortable a house.

He is quite a skilled worker.他確實(shí)是個(gè)熟練的工人。

He is a quite skilled worker.

5.half句式中

（1）表示“半個(gè)”

half an inch=a half inch 半英寸

half an hour=a half hour 半小時(shí)

half an apple=a half apple 半個(gè)蘋(píng)果

（2）表示“幾個(gè)半”

two and a half weeks=two weeks and a half 兩周半

two and a half hours=two hours and a half 兩個(gè)半小時(shí)

6.“what+a+adj.+n.” 感嘆句中

What a clever boy he is！ 他是個(gè)多么聰明的男孩啊！

What a splendid performance you gave us！ 你的演出多么精彩！
