五、定語

1.形容詞作定語

He was advised to teach the lazy boy a lesson.有人建議他教訓(xùn)一下那個懶惰的孩子。

The little boy needs a blue pen.小男孩需要一支藍色的鋼筆。

2.數(shù)詞作定語

Two boys need two pens.兩個男孩需要兩支鋼筆。

We belong to the third world.我們屬于第三世界。

3.形容詞性物主代詞作定語

I broke my leg when I was playing football.我在踢足球時把腿摔斷了。

Take a note of their names and addresses.把他們的姓名和地址記下來。

4.名詞所有格作定語

His boy needs Tom’s book.他家男孩需要Tom的書。

The boss’s son was rude to all the employees.

老板的兒子對所有雇傭人員都很無禮。

5.介詞短語作定語

The boy in the classroom needs a table.教室里的男孩需要一張桌子。

The boy in blue is Tom.穿藍色衣服的男孩是湯姆。

6.名詞作定語

The boy needs a ball pen.這男孩需要一支圓珠筆。

All difficulties are also paper tigers.一切困難也都是紙老虎。

7.不定式作定語

The boy to write this letter needs a pen.寫這封信的男孩需要一支鋼筆。

I have many letters to write .我有許多信要寫。

We have made a plan to learn from Lei Feng .我們制定了一個向雷鋒學(xué)習(xí)的計劃。

I have no time to go there .我沒有時間去那兒。

8.分詞作定語

The smiling boy needs a school bag bought by his mother.

那個微笑的男孩需要一只他媽媽買的書包。

The bridge built last month needs repairing.上個月建造的那座橋需要修理。

9.從句作定語

The boy who is reading needs a pair of glasses.那個在閱讀的男孩需要一副眼鏡。

The man who gave us a report yesterday was a model worker.

昨天晚上給我們作報告的那個人是勞動模范。
