Apple will double down on big phone screens next year, says respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities.

據(jù)知情人士郭先生透露，蘋果公司明年將推出更大屏幕的手機(jī)，其屏幕大小將是現(xiàn)行手機(jī)屏幕的二倍。

He writes in a new 2018 forecast that he expects Apple to announce a 6.5-inch phone with an OLED display (like the iPhone X), a 6.1-inch phone with an LED display, and a 5.8-inch upgrade to this year's iPhone X.

他在2018年的銷售預(yù)報中指出，他預(yù)測蘋果將推出6.5寸OLED屏，6.1寸LED 屏，以及5.8寸的iPhone X升級版。

All three of the new phones will use the iPhone X design and will feature the iPhone X’s facial recognition system and 3D camera effects, Kuo believes.

Demand for the new (5.8-inch) iPhone X and (5.5-inch) iPhone 8 Plus has been much stronger than Apple anticipated–and far stronger than sales of the smaller (4.7-inch) iPhone 8. The larger-screen phones are selling well, and the smaller-screen ones aren't.

The last time Apple saw a large jump in iPhone sales was when it introduced a big jump in screen sizes with the (4.7-inch) iPhone 6 and the (5.5-inch) iPhone 6 Plus in 2014. It may hope to recapture some of that mojo with the 2018 phones.
