Nancy：It’s on me.

Victor：由我來(lái)請(qǐng)客。

Nancy：Victor，this is an important phrase to know. Usually in the west when two friends go out to dinner， they split the check.

Victor：這個(gè)on me非常重要。大家一起去吃飯，每人付一半，就叫split the check.

Nancy：This means they each pay half， or they pay for what they had.

Victor：split the check就是每人付自己所吃東西的錢(qián)。

Nancy：But when someone says， “it’s on me，” it means， “I’m going to pay for you.”

Victor：但是大家要注意‘It’s on me.’就是說(shuō)我付所有的錢(qián)。

Nancy：It’s on me.

Victor：It’s on me.
