1--What do you like doing in the evening? Do you

watch much TV, for example?

2--Yes, quite a lot of television. Yes.

1--How much?

2--Erm, I should think about 2 to 3 hours.

1--Every day?

2--Yes.

1--Yuh. What are your favourite programmes?

2--Um, documentaries...serials, classics.

1--Yes. Do you watch much sport on TV?

2--Snooker, horse--jumping.

注解：

1)Do you watch much TV?：much是表示程度的“量”

詞，可以指時(shí)間的長(zhǎng)短，也可以指次數(shù)的多少。這里

主要指時(shí)間。下文a lot of television與much television

同義。但疑問(wèn)句中多用much.

2)favourite programmers：最喜愛(ài)的節(jié)目。注意美語(yǔ)

中的拼法是favorite programs。

3)documentary：反映現(xiàn)實(shí)或歷史事件的新聞片，紀(jì)錄片。

4)Snooker：一種以15只紅木球及6只其他彩色球在臺(tái)球

桌上進(jìn)行的游戲。
