A: Hi!

B: Hi.

B：嗨。

A: Are you a new student? I saw you in math class.

B: Yes I'm a new exchange student from Spain. I'm studying at Boston University for a year.

A: I'm Emma.

A：我叫艾瑪。

B: I'm Marta.

B：我是瑪爾塔。

A: How has your first month in the US been? Are you having a good time?

B: Yes it's really great. I'm glad I made the decision to go abroad, I've always wanted to live in another country.

A: What made you finally decide to do it?

B: I knew that studying abroad would make a difference in my education and my life, but I was afraid I would miss my family too much, my grandpa told me to follow my dream and take the chance. Then one day, I decided to take my grandpa's advice and just do it, I was tired of making excuses for why I couldn't go. That's how I came to this decision.

B：我知道出國(guó)留學(xué)會(huì)對(duì)我的教育和生活產(chǎn)生影響，但我擔(dān)心我會(huì)太想念我的家人，我爺爺告訴我要追隨我的夢(mèng)想，抓住機(jī)會(huì)。后來(lái)有一天，我決定聽(tīng)從爺爺?shù)慕ㄗh，去做，我厭倦了為自己不能去找借口。這就是我做出這個(gè)決定的原因。

A: You're really brave, I don't know if I could spend a year in another country, especially if people spoke another language.

B: Actually I've been learning English my whole life, I've always had a passion for it. I saw Boston in some American movies, it looked so nice that I wanted to make the effort to come here.
