1.Venture capital (noun) Money available to invest in a new business 風(fēng)險(xiǎn)資本

如：Venture capital is exciting because it’s risky; you don’t know for sure that a business will be successful

風(fēng)險(xiǎn)投資因?yàn)槠浯嬖诘娘L(fēng)險(xiǎn)性，讓人為之振奮，到那時(shí)不能保證事情一定可以成功。

2.Human Resources (noun) The people employed in a company 人力資源

如：The Human Resources department is recruiting three new secretaries

人事部招了3個(gè)新員工。

3.A vacancy (noun) An unoccupied place, for example in a place of work 空缺

如：There’s a vacancy for a chef in the restaurant where I work; why don’t you apply?

我工作的飯店，現(xiàn)在正在招聘廚師，你干嘛不試試?

4.To run (verb) To be in charge of something 管理

如：I think I could run the company better than my boss!

我覺(jué)得我比我們老板更會(huì)管理公司。

5. A nightmare (noun) A bad dream 噩夢(mèng)

如：I had a terrible nightmare last night; I woke up crying

6. Stock (noun) A supply of goods waiting to be sold 存貨

如：We need to build up more stock; we sold nearly everything yesterday
