1. 解詞釋義
Flame做動(dòng)詞用,表示“似火焰(的顏色)般地閃耀”或是“燃燒; 發(fā)出火焰”的意思。例如:They are woodedhillsides that flame red in autumn。( 長滿樹木的山坡, 在秋季紅如火焰。)The burning coalsstarted to flame yellow and orange. (燃燒著的煤開始發(fā)出了黃色與橙色的火焰。)那么,可以引申為“暴跳如雷,大發(fā)雷霆,發(fā)火”的意思。
