我看不見(jiàn)
An Irishman was once serving in a regiment in India.He did not like the climate there and decided to thinkout a trick by which he could get homw. He went tothe doctor and said to him, "my eyesight is very bad.Can you help me?"
一個(gè)愛(ài)爾蘭人曾在印度的一個(gè)團(tuán)里服役。他不喜歡那里的氣候,決定耍個(gè)花招,那樣他就能回家了。他來(lái)到醫(yī)生那里說(shuō):“我的視力很差,你能幫幫我嗎?”
The doctor looked at him for a while and then asked, "Well, but how can you prove to me that your eyesight is bad?"
醫(yī)生看了他一會(huì)兒,問(wèn)道:“哦,那么你怎么證明你的視力不好呢?”
The Irishman looked about the room and at last said, "Well, doctor, can you see that nail on thewall?"
愛(ài)爾蘭人四處看了看屋子,最后說(shuō)道:“行,醫(yī)生,你看到墻上的釘子了嗎?”
"Yes." Replied the doctor.
“是的。”醫(yī)生回答。
"Well then," said the Irishman, "and I can't."
“那么,”愛(ài)爾蘭人說(shuō),“我看不見(jiàn)。”
