His lovely eyes seem to glow with rash excitement. Then, as the seconds passed, they dimmed.His expression slowly folded into a mask of ancient sadness.

"Don't be afraid," he murmured, his velvet voice unintentionally seductive. "I promise…" Hehesitated. "I swear not to hurt you." He seemed more concerned with convincing himself thanme.

"Don't be afraid," he whispered again as he stepped closer, with exaggerated slowness. He satsinuously, with deliberately unhurried movements, till our faces were on the same level, just afoot apart.
“別害怕。”他又一次低聲耳語(yǔ)道，走得更近些，步子緩慢得夸張。他彎曲著身子坐下來(lái)，故意讓動(dòng)作顯得從容不迫，直到我們臉在同一水平線上，只有一步之遙。
"Please forgive me," he said formally. "I can control myself. You caught me off guard. But I'mon my best behavior now."
“請(qǐng)?jiān)徫摇?rdquo;他用正式的語(yǔ)氣說(shuō)道。“我能控制住自己了。你碰巧趕上了我失去警戒。但現(xiàn)在我非常規(guī)矩。”
He waited, but I still couldn't speak.
他等待著，但我還是沒(méi)法說(shuō)話。
"I'm not thirsty today, honestly." He winked.
“不瞞你說(shuō)，我今天不渴。”他眨了眨眼。
At that I had to laugh, though the sound was shaky and breathless.
對(duì)此我不得不大笑起來(lái)，但我的聲音很虛弱，幾乎透不過(guò)氣來(lái)。
"Are you all right?" he asked tenderly, reaching out slowly, carefully, to place his marble handback in mine.
“你還好嗎?”他體貼地問(wèn)道，慢慢地伸出手，小心地，把他宛如大理石般的手放到我手中。
I looked at his smooth, cold hand, and then at his eyes. They were soft, repentant. I lookedback at his hand, and then deliberately returned to tracing the lines in his hand with myfingertip. I looked up and smiled timidly.
我看著他光潔冰冷的手，然后看向他的眼睛。它們是那么的溫和，充滿了悔意。我看回他的手，然后不慌不忙地讓我的指尖回到他手上，輕描著他掌心的線條。我抬起頭，羞怯地笑了。
