雪人
One day, John said to his mother,
一天,約翰對(duì)媽媽說:
"I'm going to play in the snow."
“我要去雪地里玩。”
"Okay," said his mother.
“可以。”媽媽說。
"Put on your jacket, mitts and boots."
“穿上你的夾克,戴上手套,穿上靴子。”
John put on his jacket, boots and mitts.
約翰穿上夾克,靴子,戴上了手套。
"Don't forget your hat!" said his mother.
“別忘了你的帽子!”媽媽說。
John put on his hat.
約翰戴上了帽子。
He played in the snow.
他在雪里玩。
He made a big snowman.
他堆了一個(gè)大雪人。
He said, "Poor snowman! It's cold!
他說:“可憐的雪人!太冷了!
Put on a hat!"
戴上帽子!”
He took off his hat and put it on the snowman.
他摘下帽子給雪人戴上。
The snowman opened his eyes!
雪人睜開了眼睛!
"Hello," he said. "How are you?"
“你好,”他說。“你好嗎?”
"Yikes!" said John.
“呀!”約翰喊道。
He took his hat off the snowman.
他把帽子從雪人的頭上拿下來。
Then snowman was a snowman again.
雪人又恢復(fù)了從前的樣子。
He put his hat on the snowman.
他把帽子戴在雪人的頭上。
"Hello," said the snowman. "How are you?"
“你好,”雪人說。“你好嗎?”
"You can talk!" said John.
“你會(huì)說話!”約翰說。
"What's your name?"
“你叫什么?”
"I don't think I have a name," said the snowman.
“我想我沒有名字,”雪人說。
"What a cold, snowy day! Wonderful!
“好冷的雪天!棒極了!
What do you want to do?"
你想做什么?”
"Can you skate?" asked John.
“你會(huì)滑冰嗎?”
"Skate? I don't know," said the snowman.
“滑冰?我不知道,”雪人說。
"I have never skated."
“我從來不滑冰。”
"Do you want to learn? I can teach you," said John.
“你想學(xué)習(xí)嗎?我可以教你,”約翰說。
"Let's go!"
“我們走!”
But the snowman couldn't go.
但是雪人動(dòng)不了。
He had no feet.
他沒有腳。
John said, "Don't worry!
約翰說:“不要擔(dān)心!
I can help you."
我來幫你。”
John's father had a pair of old skis.
約翰的爸爸有一對(duì)舊的滑雪板。
John put the skis under the snowman.
約翰把滑雪板放在雪人的下面。
"Can you ski?" asked John.
“你會(huì)滑雪嗎?”約翰問。
"I don't know," said the sknowman.
“我不知道,”雪人說。
"I think I can."
“我想我會(huì)。”
Whoosh! The snowman could ski!
真快!雪人會(huì)滑雪!
He could ski very fast!
他可以滑得很快!
"This is easy! This is fun!" said the snowman.
“這很簡單!很有趣!”雪人說。
The ice for skating was near John's house.
約翰家附近可以滑冰。
At the ice, John put his skates under the snowman.
在冰上,約翰把他的溜冰板放在雪人的下面。
Whoosh! The snowman could skate!
真快!雪人會(huì)滑雪!
He could skate very fast!
他可以滑得很快!
"This is easy! This is fun!" he said.
“這很簡單!很有趣!”他說。
"Can we ski and skate always?" the snowman asked.
“我們可以經(jīng)常滑雪、滑冰嗎?”雪人問道。
"No, Spring is coming.
“不可以,春天要來了。
Then comes summer and fall," said John.
然后是夏天、秋天,”約翰說。
"Why can't we ski and skate in spring, summer and fall?" asked the snowman.
“為什么不在春天、夏天和秋天滑雪和滑冰呢?”雪人問道。
"Because it is too warm.

There is rain, there is wind,
有雨,有風(fēng),
but there is no snow and no ice," said John.
但是沒有雪和冰,”約翰說。
"And no snowman," said the snowman sadly.
“也沒有雪人,”雪人傷心地說。
"No," said John.
"沒有,"約翰說。
"But don't worry. I can help you."
“但是別擔(dān)心。我可以幫你。”
At supper-time, John's mother opened the refrigerator.
晚飯的時(shí)候,約翰的媽媽打開冰箱。
