　　In this much-travelled world, there are stillthousands of places which are inaccessible totourists. We always assume that villagers inremote places are friendly and hospitable. Butpeople who are cut off not only from foreigntourists, but even from their own countrymencan be hostile to travellers.

　　在這個旅游頻繁的世界上，仍有成千上萬個游人足跡未至的地方。

　　語言點:much-travelled world為“復(fù)合形容詞+n.”結(jié)構(gòu)的短語，不能說busy world,busy指的是“事情多”。

　　2.We always assume that villagers in remote places are friendly and hospitable.

　　人們總是以為偏僻的地方的村民們熱情好客。

　　語言點1:句子結(jié)構(gòu)分析:assume that…的意境比think that…要深的多。

　　語言點2: friendly and hospitable作表語。

　　3.But people who are cut off not only from foreign tourists, but even from their owncountrymen can be hostile to travellers.

　　但是，那些不但與外國旅游者隔絕，而且與本國同胞隔絕的人們有可能對游客抱有敵意。

　　語言點:can be hostile to的意思是“可能對…抱有敵意”。
