[名詞用法]使用雙重所有格有哪些注意點(diǎn)

　　1. 受雙重所有格修飾的名詞通常不能是專(zhuān)有名詞或具有獨(dú)一無(wú)二性質(zhì)的名詞，如不說(shuō) Jim of Mrs. Smith’s / a father of Mary’s，可改說(shuō) Mrs. Smith’s Jim / Mary’s father。

　　2. 受雙重所有格修飾的名詞通常不能帶定冠詞，但可帶指示代詞this, that, these, those，表示某種感情色彩(如贊賞、厭惡等)，如不說(shuō) the masterpiece of Tom’s，但可說(shuō) this / that masterpiece of Tom’s。

　　3. 雙重所有格中帶-’s所有格的名詞通常應(yīng)是確指的，如不說(shuō) a brother of a friend’s，但可說(shuō) a friend of my friend’s。

　　4. 雙重所有格中帶-’s所有格的名詞通常應(yīng)是有生命的，如不說(shuō)a window of the room’s，應(yīng)改為a window of the room。
