[00:26.28]As we were walking,we noticed that
[00:30.64]right along the side of the trail was a flooded area.
[00:36.18]Living in Florida,
[00:39.82]seeing a swampy area covered in wafer wasn't exactly the most comforting sight.
[00:47.27]It wasn't far from this flooded area did we discover
[00:53.14]that the trail came to a dead end.
[00:57.17]So,we turned around started back.
[01:02.10]As we were walking past the submerged area,
[01:07.43]Ginger looked out into the water, and then froze.
[01:13.08]Annie and I stopped and looked where Ginger was staring.

[01:23.88]"There's an alligator!"
[01:27.52]They ran I looked again.
[01:32.66]All I saw was a stick above the water.
[01:37.92]"It's just a stick!"I yelled.
[01:42.46]Then,the stick clolsed.
[01:47.17]That's right,I said it closed!
[01:52.43]I was so scare I couldn't even scream.
[01:57.36]I ran like my life depended on it,because it did!
[02:03.73]Although Ginger and Annie had a good head start out of the trail,
[02:11.26]I beat them to the exit,
[02:15.11]where our siblings and their friends were waiting for us.
[02:20.54]some in tears.
[02:23.96]They thought we had gotten lost.
[02:28.54]Fortunately we were okay,
[02:32.78]just exhausted from running so hard.
[02:37.32]But better exhausted than eaten.
[02:42.04]And that's my most vivid childhood memory.
