I don’t feel bad or angry at all. I just said, “I am Japanese”. 我并不覺得糟糕或者生氣。我只是會解釋說：“我是日本人?！盜 know that they can’t recognise which one is Japanese or Chinese. 我知道他們沒辦法區(qū)分哪個是中國人哪個是日本人。We are all similar faces. I think they feel Asian is all same. I can’t recognise which one is American or English either.我們擁有相同的臉，我覺得他們認為亞洲人長得都一樣，就像我也沒辦法區(qū)分美國人和英國人一樣。

I would actually be impressed if a Westerner recognizes me as Japanese. 如果西方人能認出我是日本人我才會很驚訝。I mean, even I sometimes can’t tell the Asians apart. 因為即使是我，有時候也沒辦法區(qū)分亞洲人。It’s a reasonable assumption since what, almost 90% of the East Asian population is Chinese.這是非常合理的一條假設，因為，中國人口占據了東亞人口的90%。I usually politely correct them, teach them the Japanese greetings (Konnichiwa), and walk away to get on with my life.我通常會禮貌地糾正他們并且教他們日本人的問候方式，然后走開繼續(xù)過我的生活。P.S.
