As a Chinese version of American idol, Super Girls contest draws(吸引) the largest audiences in the history of Chinese television, which brought a "show fever" to the whole nation.

作為中國版的"美國偶像"，"超級女生"吸引了中國電視史上最多的觀眾，拉開了全民"選秀熱"的序幕。

Different kinds of talent shows are held one by one. Why did these shows receive so much attention? Why should some ordinary people receive levels of enthusiasm (熱情) that even super stars don't get?

各種各樣的選秀活動層出不窮。人們不禁要問為什么這些選秀活動能夠得到如此廣泛的關(guān)注?為什么一些普通人激起的觀眾熱情能遠遠超過明星大腕?

Just as someone points out, the success of these shows is no doubt related to the factor of audience participation(參與). The selection process is conducted by citizens voting through phone calls or SMS. In this sense, these shows are not only a commercial success, but also a general civil mobilization(動員), which created new game rules for entertainment.

正如有關(guān)人士指出，這些選秀活動之所以能夠獲得如此大的成功，同其觀眾參與的因素是分不開的。觀眾通過電話或短信投票參與到活動的評選過程，從這種角度而言，這些選秀活動不僅是一種商業(yè)上的成功，同時也是一項全民大動員。它們開創(chuàng)了娛樂活動的新規(guī)則。
