　　中國(guó)有句俗話：種瓜得瓜，種豆得豆，不種當(dāng)然不得。Edgar Albert Guest這首詩(shī)《碩果和玫瑰》中說(shuō)道，只要想要的東西有價(jià)值，就得靠努力去創(chuàng)造，只要付出汗水和努力，就一定有收獲。

　　The man who wants a garden fair，

　　要想有個(gè)美麗花園，

　　Or small or very big.

　　面積大小姑且不管，

　　With flowers growing here and there，

　　只要園中長(zhǎng)滿鮮花，

　　Must bend his back and dig.

　　就必須把汗水揮灑。

　　The things are mighty few on earth，

　　有愿望就能實(shí)現(xiàn)，

　　That wishes can attain，

　　這樣的事還真是少見(jiàn)，

　　Whatever we want of any worth，

　　只要想要的東西有價(jià)值，

　　We’ve got to work to gain.

　　就得靠努力去創(chuàng)造。

　　It matters not what goal you seek，

　　目標(biāo)是什么并不重要，

　　Its secret here reposes(依靠，信賴)：

　　秘訣終歸只有一條：

　　You’ve got to dig from week to week，

　　周復(fù)一周不怕勞累，

　　To get results or roses.

　　才能收獲碩果或者玫瑰。
