“幾十個(gè)?？墒?，”她搖搖頭，“毫無用處。”她補(bǔ)充道。

"Well, you must persevere," said Fanny sententiously. But it was obvious that herconfidence in her own prescriptions had been shaken.

“那你就應(yīng)當(dāng)堅(jiān)持，”范尼像引用警句一樣說，“不能持之以恒，絕對(duì)一事無成。”但是她對(duì)自己開的藥方也失去了信心。

Nothing can be achieved without perseverance.
