one to mount direct to heaven, the other to drive yawingly to some horizontal goal.

一種要使它直接登上天去，另一種卻要把它拖出航線，駛到地角去。

And had you watched Ahab's face that night, you would have thought that in him also two different things were warring.

如果你那天晚上注意到亞哈的臉色，你準(zhǔn)會(huì)以為他心里也正有兩件不同的東西在爭(zhēng)斗著。
