(BBC News)The deer population of America is being struck down by a version of mad cow disease.

(英國國家廣播公司報道)美國的鹿群正受到一種狂牛癥的襲擊而生病或死亡。

American health authorities say there's no risk to humans and that it is safe to continue eating venison.

美國衛(wèi)生當局表示，這對人類不會造成危險，而且繼續(xù)食用鹿肉也對人體無害。

However, some experts in America think the disease may already have killed several people.

不過美國有些專家則認為，這種疾病可能已經(jīng)造成好幾個人死亡。
