可惜，計(jì)劃總沒有變化快。咱們號稱“有實(shí)力，有決心，有創(chuàng)意，有動力，有熱情，還有一份完美簡歷”的萊登，卻像大多數(shù)缺乏求職經(jīng)驗(yàn)的應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生一樣，在人山人海的招聘海選中，面對出版社刁鉆問題的狂轟濫炸暴露了菜鳥本色。

頂尖出版社的美差被大學(xué)勁敵杰茜卡撬了墻腳，“幸?？鞓返接肋h(yuǎn)”的好夢也只能告一段落，更慘的是，為了節(jié)約成本，窮得響叮當(dāng)?shù)娜R登還只能搬回家和家人擠在一塊住。面試一次次碰壁就不提了，要她成天不是對著笨手笨腳的老爹(邁克爾·基頓)和摳得要命的老媽(簡·林奇)，就是對著神神叨叨的奶奶和古古怪怪的小弟，還外加七大姑八大姨的奚落，還不如死了算了!還好，她還能常和青梅竹馬的好朋友亞當(dāng)(扎克·杰爾弗德)一起談心海聊，而不經(jīng)意間遇見的帥氣鄰居大衛(wèi)(羅德里戈·桑托羅)，也成了可以讓她感到些許安慰的避風(fēng)港……
