幸福之根本，是通往幸福路上的旅途

Many people think that when they become rich and successful, happiness will naturally follow. Let me tell you that nothing is further from the truth. The world is full of very rich people who are as miserable as if they were living in hell. We have read stories about movie stars who committed suicide or died from drugs. Quite clearly, money is not the only answer to all problems. Wealth obtained through dishonest means does not bring happiness. Lottery winnings do not bring happiness. Gamble winnings do not bring happiness.

許多人認(rèn)為當(dāng)他們富有，取得成功時(shí)，幸福自然就會(huì)隨之而來(lái)。我告訴你:事實(shí)并非如此。世界上有很多富人，但是他們卻很痛苦，猶如生活在地獄中。我們都讀過(guò)影星自殺或死于吸毒的故事。顯而易見(jiàn)，錢(qián)不是解決所有問(wèn)題的答案。通過(guò)不正當(dāng)手段獲得的財(cái)富并不能帶來(lái)幸福。抽到獎(jiǎng)券也不會(huì)帶來(lái)幸福;賭博也不會(huì)帶給你幸福。

To my mind, the secret to happiness lies in your successful work. There is no use saying in your contribution towards others' happiness and in your wealth you have earned through your own honest effort. If you obtain wealth through luck or dishonest means, you will know that it is ill earned money. If you get your money by taking advantage of others or by hurting others, you will not be happy with it. You will think you are a base person. Long-term happiness is based on honesty, productive work, contribution, and self-esteem.

在我看來(lái)，幸福的秘密在于要有成功的工作。通過(guò)帶給別人幸福和誠(chéng)實(shí)的努力而獲得的幸福才是真正的幸福。如果你是通過(guò)運(yùn)氣或是不誠(chéng)實(shí)的手段而獲得錢(qián)財(cái)，你會(huì)知道那并不是辛苦掙來(lái)的錢(qián);如果通過(guò)利用別人或是傷害別人而獲得錢(qián)財(cái)，你不會(huì)因此高興。你會(huì)認(rèn)為自己是個(gè)卑鄙的人。長(zhǎng)期的幸福是建立在誠(chéng)實(shí)，有成果的工作，貢獻(xiàn)和自尊的基石上的。

在我看來(lái)，幸福的秘密在于要有成功的工作。通過(guò)帶給別人幸福和誠(chéng)實(shí)的努力而獲得的幸福才是真正的幸福。如果你是通過(guò)運(yùn)氣或是不誠(chéng)實(shí)的手段而獲得錢(qián)財(cái)，你會(huì)知道那并不是辛苦掙來(lái)的錢(qián);如果通過(guò)利用別人或是傷害別人而獲得錢(qián)財(cái)，你不會(huì)因此高興。你會(huì)認(rèn)為自己是個(gè)卑鄙的人。長(zhǎng)期的幸福是建立在誠(chéng)實(shí)，有成果的工作，貢獻(xiàn)和自尊的基石上的。

One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred Souza. He said, "for a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."

我最看中一段爾弗雷德·蘇澤說(shuō)過(guò)的話。他說(shuō)“一直以來(lái)，我感覺(jué)的是真正的生活就要來(lái)了。但是在前面總有些東西攔在那里，一些問(wèn)題必須先被搞定后才能進(jìn)行下一項(xiàng)，比如未完成的工作，等著輪到自己的那段時(shí)間、等待著交錢(qián)的賬單。當(dāng)這些事解決后你才能開(kāi)始自己的一天。后來(lái)我才覺(jué)悟到解決這些生活瑣事的時(shí)候就是我的人生。”

This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment that you have.

這樣的想法使我認(rèn)識(shí)到，幸福是沒(méi)有方式去追求尋找的。因?yàn)閷ふ倚腋５倪^(guò)程本身就是幸福。所以珍惜你所擁有的點(diǎn)點(diǎn)滴滴.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So, work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt, and dance like no one's watching.

尋找幸福的過(guò)程本身就是幸福，這條路上沒(méi)有終點(diǎn)站。那么，你就要像不愁薪水那般去工作;敞開(kāi)心扉那般去深?lèi)?ài);旁若無(wú)人般去歌舞。
