"Who moved my cheese?"is a story about change that takes place in a Maze where four amusing characters look for "Cheese". Cheese being a metaphor for what we want to have in life, whether it is a job, a relationship, money, a big house, freedom, health, recognition, spiritual peace, or even an activity like jogging or golf. Each of us has our own idea of what Cheese is, and we pursue it because we believe it can makes us happy. If we get it, we often become attached to it. And if we lose it, or it’s taken away, it can be traumatic. The "Maze" in the story represents where you spend time looking for what you want. It can be the organization you work in, the community you live in, or the relationships you have in your life. In the story you will see that the two mice do better when they are faced with change because they keep things simple, while the two little people’s complex brains and human emotions complicate things. It is not that mice are smarter. We all know people are more intelligent than mice. However, as you watch what the four characters do, and realize both the mice and the little people represent parts of ourselves, the simple and the complex, you can see it would be to our advantage to do the simple things that work when things change.
《誰(shuí)動(dòng)了我的奶酪》講的是一個(gè)關(guān)于"變化"的故事。故事發(fā)生在一個(gè)迷宮中，有四個(gè)可愛(ài)的小生靈在迷宮中尋找他們的奶酪。故事里的"奶酪"是對(duì)我們?cè)诂F(xiàn)實(shí)生活中所追求目標(biāo)的一種比喻，它可以是一份工作，一種人際關(guān)系，可以是金錢(qián)，一幢豪宅，還可以是自由、健康、賞識(shí)、精神自由，甚至還可以只是一項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng)，如慢跑、高爾夫球等。我們每個(gè)人的內(nèi)心都有自己想要的"奶酪"，我們追尋它，想要得到它，因?yàn)槲覀兿嘈?，它?huì)帶給我們幸福和快樂(lè)。而一旦我們得到了自己夢(mèng)寐以求的奶酪，又常常會(huì)對(duì)它產(chǎn)生依賴(lài)心理，甚至成為的附庸。這時(shí)如果我們忽然失去了它，或者它被人拿走了，我們將會(huì)因此而受到極大的傷害。故事里的"迷宮"代表著你花時(shí)間尋求著的東西所在的地方，它可以是你效力的機(jī)構(gòu)，你生活的社區(qū)，亦或是你生活中的某種人際關(guān)系。在故事里，你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，當(dāng)面對(duì)變化時(shí)兩個(gè)老鼠做得比兩個(gè)小矮人要好，因?yàn)樗麄兛偸前咽虑楹?jiǎn)單化，而當(dāng)兩個(gè)小矮人所具有的復(fù)雜的腦筋和人類(lèi)的情感，卻總是把事情變得復(fù)雜化。這并不是說(shuō)老鼠比人更聰明。我們都知道人類(lèi)更具智慧。當(dāng)你觀察故事中四個(gè)角色的行為時(shí)，你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)，其實(shí)老鼠和小矮人代表我們自身的不同方面，簡(jiǎn)單的一面和復(fù)雜的一面，當(dāng)事物發(fā)生變化時(shí)，或許簡(jiǎn)單行事會(huì)給我們帶來(lái)許多的便利和益處。
