之前早餐英語(yǔ)教唱了Bruno Mars， 火星哥炒雞好聽(tīng)的一首歌When I was your man，講述是一個(gè)男人失去摯愛(ài)女友的悔恨之歌，這首歌當(dāng)中，I was your man 就是它字面的意思“我是你男人?！钡窃诳谡Z(yǔ)中，當(dāng)某人說(shuō)I'm your man時(shí)，他可不是想勾搭你，千萬(wàn)別想歪哦！
I'm your man有兩層含義,具體意思要看具體語(yǔ)境哦！
表示 "我行,我可以", 就可以說(shuō)：I'm your man，意思是"你可算是找對(duì)人了!"
I'm your man! = 我是你要找的人!
Example:
I heard there's an opening in your company, I'm your man!
我聽(tīng)說(shuō)貴公司職位空缺, 我就是你要找的人。
2. 但是如果你想對(duì)某人表示忠誠(chéng)或是支持，一句I'm your man.就絕對(duì)能說(shuō)到他/她心上。
I'm your man! = 我聽(tīng)你的! =我隨叫隨到!
Example:
Well, whatever you need, I'm your man. Just name it.
好吧，無(wú)論你需要什么,我隨叫隨到!盡管吩咐吧!
Man的用法還不止上面所提到的呢！
Man=喜歡某事的人
I'm a football man.
我是個(gè)喜歡足球的人。
I'm a football man. =我是足球迷。
I'm a basketball man. =我是籃球迷。
貓奴看這里：
I'm a cat person.
我是一個(gè)喜歡貓的人。
I'm a dog person.
我是一個(gè)喜歡狗的人。
Old man 口語(yǔ)中可不是老男人的意思哦，而是對(duì)父親或是老伴的昵稱(chēng)
Policeman, fire fighter or a postman
警察消防員或者郵遞員
Why not something like your old man
為什么不是像你老爸的人？
You can be just the one you wanna be
你可以成為任何一個(gè)你想成為的人
Example:
Her old man left her a few million when he died.
她老爸去世時(shí), 給她留了好幾百萬(wàn)。
man of the world ：閱歷豐富、飽經(jīng)世故的人
Example:
Bob is a man of the world, why not go to him for advice?
鮑勃是個(gè)通曉世故的人, 干嘛不去聽(tīng)聽(tīng)他的意見(jiàn)？
man of letters ：文人、作家、學(xué)者
Example:
Shakespeare was perhaps Britain's greatest man of letters.
莎士比亞或許可以算是英國(guó)最偉大的作家。
man of his word ：守信用的人、說(shuō)話算數(shù)的人
Example:
You can trust him because he's a man of his word.
你可以信任他, 他是個(gè)說(shuō)話算話的人。
