法國新聞社：巴黎埃菲爾鐵塔一層改造工程告一段落，今天，一層臺(tái)塔完工剪彩將如期舉行。改裝后的一層地板和圍欄全部是玻璃結(jié)構(gòu)，設(shè)計(jì)師在離地面57米高的一層安裝巨大的觀看托架，在支柱間的內(nèi)側(cè)通道上安裝的玻璃地板完全給參觀者一種在空中行走的感覺。

AFP: A much-anticipated facelift of the Eiffel Tower is scheduled to be unveiled Monday with a new glass floor to dizzy the millions of tourists who flock to Paris's best-known landmark every year.

Its owners hope the formerly dowdy and draughty first floor will become as big an attraction as the viewing platform on top of the 325-metretower -- the most visited paying monument in the world.

Visitors will be able to look down through a solid glass floor to the 57 square metres below, with transparent and eco-friendly pavilions built around the tower's enormous central void.
