David always liked kites.大衛(wèi)總是喜歡風(fēng)箏。

When be became eighteen, 當(dāng)被成為十八歲,

his father gave him a giant kite. 他的父親給了他一個(gè)巨大的風(fēng)箏。

It was so large that he thought 它是如此的大,他想

it could carry him up into the air.它可以帶他進(jìn)了空氣。

David tied a rope from the kite to a boat.大衛(wèi)將繩子從風(fēng)箏,一條船。

When the boat stopped , David splashed into the water.船停下來(lái)后,大衛(wèi)墜入了水。

He said that it had been a lot of fun.他說(shuō),這是一個(gè)很多的樂趣。
