英語笑話:What's she like?她什么樣子？

A little girl was lost，so she went up to a policeman and said, "I've lost my mom!"

The cop said, "What's she like?"

The little girl replied, "Shopping and gossiping!"

有一個小女孩兒走丟了，于是她走到一個警察跟前說：“我媽媽不見了!”

這個句子中有兩個lost，第一個是形容詞，表“迷路的”， 第二個是動詞lost的過去分詞，表“失去、遺失"

lost [l?st] adj.迷賂的 lose [lu:z] v.失去;遺失

go up to走近…;到…地方去

2. The cop said, "What’s she like?"

這個警察說：“他什幺樣予?”

cop是由動詞cop(逮捕)演變而來的，“警察”也可以說成 policeman，police officer。要稱呼他們則用officer。

What's she like? = What is she like? (她什么樣子?)。不要和What does she like? (她喜歡什么?)弄混了。“像”和“喜歡”都like,但是“像”是介詞，而“喜歡”則是動詞。
