Yes這個(gè)詞，再簡(jiǎn)單不過(guò)。但是不同的情況下，還得學(xué)會(huì)用不同的方法說(shuō)“yes”。這樣才能恰當(dāng)表達(dá)你的情緒、語(yǔ)氣。今天，Jenny, Adam就教你近10種最常用的不同方法說(shuō)“yes”。

1.Yeah

美國(guó)人最?lèi)?ài)用：Yeah

這是美國(guó)人很愛(ài)用的一個(gè)詞。美國(guó)人在講yes的時(shí)候，你總會(huì)聽(tīng)他們說(shuō)Yeah。以至于長(zhǎng)期旅居國(guó)外的阿姨回國(guó)以后的中文都常帶Yeah結(jié)尾。

About the spelling of this word, it actually has many spellings: 其實(shí)這個(gè)字有很多的拼法

But it doesn't really matter because it's very casual and colloquial: 因?yàn)檫@是口語(yǔ)化的表達(dá)，在正規(guī)的工作郵件里面還是不要用Yeah了。

那這個(gè)Yeah怎么用呢?

Anytime you want to say yes, like "Yeah, that song was great."

Yeah, it was great!

所以基本上在有人問(wèn)你什么東西對(duì)不對(duì)好不好的時(shí)候都可以用“Yeah"

2.Yup

超簡(jiǎn)潔：Yup

It's pretty much the same as "yeah" with a "p" at the end: 跟Yeah很像, 就是加個(gè)“p”在后面。Sounds kind of nice and a little more funny.

It's very similar. It's also informal and casual: 它的用法跟yeah也很像。

比如說(shuō): Let's grab dinner tonight together. Are you free?

Yup, I'm free.

Yup, should be no problem.

在工作場(chǎng)合也可以用，比如你可以跟同事說(shuō): Adam, can we do some recordings later this afternoon?

Yup, no problem.

It's the best way to reply if somebody asked you "Can you do something?" or "Did you do something?" I'd propably say "yup" before "yeah". I wouldn't say "Yeah, I did": 這是一種友好的表達(dá)，表明你們是相互認(rèn)識(shí)的。

The tone of "yeah" can sometimes sound impatient, but "yup" always sounds positive, like a friendly dog: “Yeah”的語(yǔ)氣如果稍有不慎就會(huì)給人以不友好或不耐煩的感覺(jué)。而“yup”則給人一種更積極更堅(jiān)定的感覺(jué)。

可以拼寫(xiě)成 yup，或者 yep.

3.Yuppers

快樂(lè)的牛仔: Yuppers

It's everything about "yup" but cuter: 很有旋律感像唱歌一樣的yuppers，用法跟yup很相像。像是美國(guó)牛仔經(jīng)常會(huì)使用 "yuppers"。是非常可愛(ài)的一種表達(dá)。

4.Yessir

長(zhǎng)官、老板和兄弟：Yessir

It's not really "Yes, sir" but more in a friendly ironic way. If you are saying to a person much above you, you would say "Yes, sir." But this case is with friends: "Yessir"來(lái)源于“是，長(zhǎng)官”，但在長(zhǎng)期逐漸演化變體中，形成了更口語(yǔ)化也帶有友好反諷自嘲意味的“yessir"。

The only problem is sometimes you want to say "Yessir" to a girl, so there's also "Yes'm" short for "Yes, ma'am", which comes from the southern part of America: 所以“Yessir”多用于男子之間，而對(duì)女士則會(huì)用"Yes'm"。

5.Okey-dokey

可愛(ài)二次元：Okey-dokey

It also sounds very cute: Okey-dokey 很有二次元卡通的意味。

這個(gè)"okey-dokey"怎么用呢?

Another way to say "okay"

For example, in the office I often answer "Adam, can you finish something by 2 o'clock?" with "Okey-dokey, no problem"

When people ask you to do something

所以有人在問(wèn)你能不能做某事的時(shí)候可以用Okey-dokey來(lái)回答，有一種陽(yáng)光的，積極向上，“自己能做”的態(tài)度在里面，在說(shuō)的時(shí)候都會(huì)感覺(jué)心情很好。

6.Rightio

澳洲人喜歡：Rightio

這是在澳洲學(xué)習(xí)到一個(gè)詞。澳洲人很常講的一個(gè)詞。來(lái)自于right或者alright。

If you are tired of using the same word again and again, you can switch it up and say "rightio". British people tend to say "righto", but it's the same thing. It tends to be a Commonwealth term, not so much American: 總之不管是rightio還是righto都是常見(jiàn)于英聯(lián)邦國(guó)家，而在美國(guó)反而不太常見(jiàn)。

7.Totally

超級(jí)正能量：Totally

Americans love using "totally". 美國(guó)人的口頭禪絕不能漏掉了這個(gè)詞。

Exactly, totally, and absolutely are three of the most common words you'll hear Americans say, since they have a tendency to exaggerate: Exactly，totally，absolutely簡(jiǎn)直就是美國(guó)人最喜歡用詞的“top three”前三甲。美國(guó)人喜歡“over the top”，喜歡夸張，特別喜歡totally。

怎么用"totally"呢?

比如問(wèn)一個(gè)電影好看么，"Did you like the movie?" 回答也是"Totally".

"It's totally worth it."

"You should totally go."

"It was totally awesome."

如果你問(wèn)他們 "Do you like China?" 回答也是，"Absolutely," "Totally".

所以這些詞與“yes”比起來(lái)就更確信，更投入，給人以百分百的感覺(jué)。

So many times I've seen Chinese friends and I've asked them, "Do you like this?" I can see their face. They really like it but they can only say "yes". They know it's not enough and they're trying to say something more.

所以不同的情緒可以選用不同的詞來(lái)表達(dá)。如果你情緒強(qiáng)烈，就可以用“Totally”和“Absolutely”這樣的詞。

8.Fo'shizzle

黑人嘻哈：Fo'shizzle

The idea is that many hip-hop artists will take a word, and turn whatever the vowel sound is into "-izzle", like "Fo'shizzle, my nizzle" or "Fo'shizz," which means "for sure": 來(lái)自黑人文化。來(lái)源于“for sure”，為了聽(tīng)起來(lái)更酷更炫，嘻哈街頭文化的黑人喜歡把它們說(shuō)成Fo'shizzle。有時(shí)也說(shuō)Fo' shizz。

When Kanye West and Jay-Z say it, it sounds right, but not everyone can pull it off, and it might seem out of place if you try to, so the important thing is to know what it means: 但考慮到我們平時(shí)的風(fēng)格可能與其不搭，我們就選擇聽(tīng)懂就好，不一定要去用。

9.Uh-huh

不想說(shuō)話(huà)的時(shí)候：Uh-huh

This one is dead simple. It isn't so much a word as it is a sound. It might sound unenthusiastic, but it all depends on your tone of voice and where you add stress: 這實(shí)際上也不是一個(gè)詞，只是發(fā)出一個(gè)聲音，聽(tīng)起來(lái)或許有一些不情愿，沒(méi)什么熱情，但是嘗試變變聲調(diào)，就會(huì)有不同的感覺(jué)。

Oprah, one of the most famous American talk show hosts, loves using this word: 這還是黑人脫口秀女王奧普拉很喜歡說(shuō)的一個(gè)詞哦。
