1. make one's blood boil ** 使某人非常生氣，使某人憤怒

解〈口〉習語；詞義溯源：使得某人［熱血沸騰（blood boil）］

例 Listen to this mail from the company president, “Due to the bad economic situation of the country, we will not raise salaries and wages this year. ” Boy, doesn't that have a familiar ring to it? It's the same excuse he used last year to avoid giving us a raise!And this company has made a 15% gain in profits both years. Damn, it makes my blood boil!

2. make one's blood run cold ** 使不寒而栗，使極度害怕

5. make sb. the scapegoat / make sb. the scapegoat for sth. ** 成為犧牲品
