join v. to fix or connect two things to each other連接，結(jié)合。適用于實(shí)物的接觸、連接或至少兩個(gè)單獨(dú)物體的結(jié)合，也適用于人的結(jié)合或聯(lián)合（如形成一個(gè)群體）。Join the two ends of the rope together.把這繩子的兩端系在一起。
