1.顧客進入餐廳后,站在門口迎賓的服務員要非常友好、親切地向顧客打招呼并領位。如:
Good morning. Sir/Madam. I'm glad to see you! 早上好,先生/女士。很高興見到您。
Sir, your table is ready. We have been holding it for you. 先生,您的餐位已經準備好了。我們正恭候您的光臨。
The table is ready now. This way, please. 您的位置已經準備好了,這邊請。
如果餐廳沒有空位,服務員要非常禮貌并誠懇地請客人等待片刻,并為客人提供等待的空間和茶水。如:
I'm afraid there are no other places free at the moment. Would you mind waiting for a while? 恐怕現(xiàn)在沒有空座,您介意稍微等一會兒嗎?
The restaurant is full now. Do you care to wait about 20 minutes? 餐廳現(xiàn)在已經滿了,您介意等20分鐘嗎?
Would you care for a drink in the lounge while you are waiting? 您可以在休息室喝杯飲料稍等一會兒嗎?
I will seat you as soon as we have a table. 一旦我們有空位會立馬給您安排的。
2.飯店接待員的工作在客人到達時問候客人,安排就坐和預訂。所以在大多數(shù)情況下,接待員在安排客人就座之前,都要問清客人的人數(shù)和是否預訂了座位,然后再引導客人入座。如:
Do you have a reservation? Under what name, please? 您有預訂嗎?請問名字是什么?
When did you make the reservation? 您什么時候預訂的?
Under whose name was the reservation made? 請問你是用誰的名字預訂的?
How many persons are there in your party?你們是一行幾個人過來用餐的?
