350　bring, take, get, carry和fetch

1　bring 和take 可以看作反義詞。bring表示“帶來，拿來”，指把某物從到他處拿來、帶來，或把某人從他處帶到、領(lǐng)到說話人的所在地。take 表示“帶去，拿走”，指把人或物帶到、領(lǐng)到、拿到別處，“把某物帶去給某人”是take sth. to sb.。

Shall I bring food for the picnic? 我?guī)б安偷氖称泛脝幔?/p>

Please bring your brother here tomorrow. 明天請把你弟弟帶來 。

Please take your brother there tomorrow. 明天請把你弟弟帶到那里去 。

Bring the children back from the kindergarten at half past four. 4點半把孩子們從幼兒園接回來。

She took the dictionary to Tom. 她把那本詞典帶給了湯姆。

Would you please take the message to her? 你把這口信帶給她好嗎？

2　get 本身表示“得到，拿到”，常用于go and get結(jié)構(gòu)中，意為“去拿，去找，去請，取來”等意。get sth. back表示“取回”。

Go and get a doctor quickly. 快去請醫(yī)生。

Would you please get the money back for me? 你能為我把那筆錢取回嗎？

3　carry 表示“搬運，攜帶，提，抬”等，不表示方向。

The workers are carrying a big stone. 工人們在搬運一塊大石頭。

He is carrying a bag on his shoulder. 他肩上扛著一個包。

Let me carry this box for you. 讓我給你拿這個箱子。

“身上帶著錢”常用take，也可用carry。

She took a lot of money with her. （正）她身上帶著許多錢。

4　fetch 表示“取來，去拿”，表示從說話處出發(fā)，到其他地方把人或物帶到或拿到說話處來，相當于go...and bring back。

Please fetch us some water. 請給我們弄點水來。
