buy sth. for sb. 意為“為某人買某物”，mend sth. for sb. 意為“為某人修補某物”，for sb.都是表示“對象”的，結構相同。make sth. for sb.（為……制造某物）和draw sth. for sb. （為……畫某物）也是同類結構。
He bought a pair of shoes for her. 他為她買了一雙鞋。
He mended the shoes for her. 他為她修了鞋。
She made a pair of shoes for him. 她為他做了一雙鞋。
He will draw a picture for us.他將為我們畫一幅畫。
提示
但是，buy/make/draw/sth. for sb.可以轉換為buy/make/draw/sb.+sth.這種跟雙賓語的結構，而mend sth. for sb.則不可。
He bought her a pair of shoes.（正）
He mended her the shoes.（誤）
