Dan中尉很了解他的下屬。
-Gump: I felt real lucky he was my lieutenant.
能做他的下屬我覺得很幸運(yùn)。
-Gump: He was from a long, great military tradition.
military: 軍事的 tradition: 傳統(tǒng)

-Gump: Somebody in his family had fought… and died… in every… American war.

-Gump: That's a fine idea.

-Gump: Bubba did have a fine idea. I even wrote Jenny and told her all about it.
