2. "The Towering Inferno"

The 1974 effects don't hold up but the story does. Directed by JohnGuillermin and starring Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, and William Holden,"The Towering Inferno" finds its victims trapped in a high risebuilding on fire (thus the film's title) and the audience is kept onthe edge of their seats never knowing who amongst the star-studded castis going to buy the farm next。
《火燒摩天樓》是1974年的老片子了，當(dāng)年的特效別指望啥了，不過故事還是相當(dāng)出彩，保羅·紐曼等人的演繹也很出色。故事講的就是一棟摩天大樓著了火，樓里人們無處逃生。觀眾們都看得神經(jīng)緊張，不知道下一個(gè)輪到誰掛掉。
