　　The high five is a hand gesture that occurs when two people simultaneously raise one hand each, about head-high, and slap the flat of their palm against each other. The gesture is often preceded verbally by a phrase like "Give me five" or "High five." Its meaning varies with the context of use but can include as a greeting, congratulations or celebration.

　　High five是一種手勢(shì)，指兩人同時(shí)舉起一只手到額頭以上的高度，然后彼此擊掌。做出這種手勢(shì)之前通常會(huì)說(shuō)一句“Give me five”或者“High five”。擊掌代表的意思隨不同的語(yǔ)境而有所變化，不過(guò)基本都是問(wèn)候、祝賀或者慶祝的意思。
