百度李彥宏夫人馬東敏向中國科大捐贈(zèng)一億元

Ma Dongmin, co-founder and vice-president of Chinese internet giant Baidu, has donated 100 million yuan ($14.5 million) to the University of Science and Technology of China.

近日，中國互聯(lián)網(wǎng)巨頭百度的聯(lián)合創(chuàng)始人兼副總裁馬東敏，向中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)捐贈(zèng)了1億元人民幣(合計(jì)1450萬美元)。

The money, from Ma's own pocket, will be used to support the university in several areas, including development of the School of the Gifted Young, according to a news release last Sunday.

上周日發(fā)布的一份新聞稱，這筆以馬東敏個(gè)人名義捐贈(zèng)的款項(xiàng)，將用于支持該校在多個(gè)領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展，包括少年班人才的培養(yǎng)。

The university said it is the largest donation made by any individual in its 60-year history.

中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)稱，這是該校建校60年以來接受的最大額個(gè)人捐款。

Ma was enrolled in the Class of the Gifted Young at USTC -- based in Ma's hometown of Hefei, Anhui province -- in 1985 at age 15.

1985年，15歲的馬東敏考入了位于家鄉(xiāng)安徽省合肥市的中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)天才少年班。

She went to the United States for further education after five years of undergraduate studies atUSTC and gained a PhD.

在中國科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)度過五年的學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)光后，她去了美國繼續(xù)深造，并獲得了博士學(xué)位。

She met Li Yanhong in 1995 in US and married him in the same year. The couple returned toChina and jointly founded Baidu in Beijing in 2000.

1995年，馬東敏在美國遇見了李彥宏，并于同年嫁給了他。2000年，這對夫妻回到中國，并在北京一起創(chuàng)辦了百度。

Ma ranked the ninth richest Chinese women in 2017, with a personal wealth of 28 billion yuan, according to the Hurun Research Institute.

根據(jù)胡潤研究所的數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2017年，馬東敏以280億元的個(gè)人財(cái)富在中國女富豪榜上排名第九。
