She might look like a tough British bulldog, but it seems the Beckhams want to give their favourite pet a softer side.

　　Family dog Coco sported delicate pink toenails while on her walkies in Los Angeles earlier this week. And she didn't look happy about it.

The puppy, who was bought by Victoria Beckham as a Christmas present for husband David, certainly appears to be one pampered pet with her brightly -coloured pedicure.

　　But rather than her toenails being painted by fun-loving Beckham boys Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - or having been to a pooch pedicurist - those in the know said they were actually special clip-on claws.

　　The brightly-coloured caps prevent accidental scratches and damage to furniture - and have the added advantage of looking rather snazzy.

　　David Beckham, 35, and wife Victoria, 36, were at San Fernando Valley skate park on Wednesday to pick up son Brooklyn, 11, when Coco was spotted.
