Now the Royals are glad to see the Yankees leave town after being swept(2) by the defending champs. It’s the last meeting between these two teams this season; the Yanks won all six meetings including this afternoon’s 8 to 5 victory and manager Joe Tore says, “No more Royals”.

“It’s hard to believe we’re 6 and 0 against them, they’ve always played us tough but to done with them, the 11th of April is hard to believe.”

Loyal starter and loser Brian Meadow feels it’s too bad they can’t get another crack at them.

“This whole team knows that we can beat them, you ask anybody on this team and would love to face them a couple more times, cause we know that we can beat them.”

Now the White Sox completed a sweep of the Indians holding on to a 7 to 6 victory at Comitzky Park.Jose Valentino and Tony Grafinino homered(3) for the Chi Sox.Cal Eldred left the game afther two innings(4) with pain in his surgically(5) repaied right elbow【肘】 .And in Boston there in the third inning the Orioles holding on to a 4 to 2 lead on the Red Sox.
