《美人魚(yú)》以24.7億元票房超越《捉妖記》創(chuàng)中國(guó)影史新紀(jì)錄

　　Director Stephen Chow's fantasy comedy movieMermaid grossed 2.45 billion Yuan ($375.6 million)by Friday evening, making history as the highest-grossing film ever in Chinese box office history.

　　截止至上周五傍晚，周星馳導(dǎo)演的奇幻喜劇電影《美人魚(yú)》票房已達(dá)24.5億人民幣(折合3.756億美元)，創(chuàng)下中國(guó)電影票房史上最高紀(jì)錄。

　　This distinction was previously held by RamanHui's Monster Hunt, which collected 2.439 billionYuan ($374 million) in over two months last year.The movie had toppled Furious 7's box office recordof 2.426 billion Yuan ($372 million).

　　最高票房紀(jì)錄在此前由許誠(chéng)毅執(zhí)導(dǎo)的《捉妖記》所保持。去年，《捉妖記》在近兩個(gè)月的時(shí)間內(nèi)收獲了24.39億人民幣(折合3.74億美元)。該電影打破了《速度與激情7》所保持的24.26億人民幣(折合3.72億美元)的票房紀(jì)錄。

　　Mermaid's box office feat is far more impressive given that it took only 12 days to rake in 2.45billion Yuan. Chow's comedy film is all but sure to cross the $400 million mark this weekend.

　　Monster Hunt's producers did not shy away from conveying their congratulation to StephenChow. They wrote on the movie's official Weibo account "Congratulations Mermaid!Congratulations Stephen!"

　　U.S. movie buffs will also get to check out the latest Chinese block buster as Sony Pictures isall set to release the movie this weekend in nearly in 33 theaters.

　　The other two Chinese films that were released during China's Lunar New Year's Day holidayThe Monkey King 2 and The Man From Macau 3 continue their strong run on the Chinese boxoffice. Although both movies are far behind Mermaid in terms of box office numbers, but havebeen huge hits in their own rights. Monkey King 2 has reportedly collected $147.6 million, whileThe Man From Macau 3 earned $145.9 million.
