　　A: The company meeting was dull as dishwater. There was absolutely nothing of interest.

　　B: I can imagine it would be enough to put one to sleep.

　　A: Yes, the boss kept talking but it just made us tired.

　　B: 可以想象得出它無聊到足以使人昏昏欲睡了吧。

　　A: 可不是，老板滔滔不絕地講，弄得我們很累。

　　dull as dishwater: 令人厭煩的;十分枯燥無味的，極為乏味的。dishwater，洗碗水。臟的洗碗水是灰色無光澤的。

　　enough to put one to sleep: 用來形容某事極其無聊，足以使人入睡。

　　tired: 疲倦的，筋疲力盡的。
