由意群決定句子的停頓
為了將意思表達得更清楚,人們在說話時需要停頓。正確的停頓不僅能夠使自己的意思表達得清楚、到位,也能使別人更準確地接受你傳達的信息、理解你的意圖。人們說出的話可以按照意思分為若干個部分,每個部分就成為一個意群。意群可以是一個單詞、一個詞組、一個短語或一個分句等,需注意的是意群可以表達相對獨立的意叉。如:
The man in yellow shirt told me it's forbidden to park here no matter what emergencies you encounter。
穿黃衣服的那個人告訴我,不管遇到什么緊急事件,都不準把車停在這兒。
