B: Commodity inspection is done in order to protect the public interests and the lawful rights and interests of the parties involved in foreign trade. And the other great significance of commodity inspection is to promote the smooth development of economic and trade relations with foreign countries.

進(jìn)行商品檢驗(yàn)首先是為了維護(hù)社會(huì)公共利益和進(jìn)出口貿(mào)易有關(guān)各方的合法權(quán)益。其次商品檢驗(yàn)的另一個(gè)重要意義在于它能夠促進(jìn)對(duì)外經(jīng)濟(jì)貿(mào)易關(guān)系的順利發(fā)展。

B: Not really. The import and export commodities which meet the conditions for exemption of inspection provided for by the State may be exempted from inspection upon the examination and approval of an application from the consignee or consignor by the State Administration for Commodity Inspection.

A: Import-export commodity inspection should be done on the basis of human health and safety, the life or heath of fauna and flora, environmental protection and public safety and prevent fraud.

進(jìn)出口商品檢驗(yàn)應(yīng)當(dāng)基于保護(hù)人類(lèi)健康和安全、保護(hù)動(dòng)物或者植物的生命和健康、保護(hù)環(huán)境、防止欺詐行為、維護(hù)國(guó)家安全而進(jìn)行。

B: What will be done to the disqualified commodities?

不合格商品該怎樣處理？

A: Imported commodities which do not go through the inspection formality are not allowed to sell or use; exported commodities which prove to be disqualified in the process of inspection are forbidden to be exporled.

進(jìn)口商品未經(jīng)檢驗(yàn)的，不準(zhǔn)銷(xiāo)售、使用出口商品未經(jīng)檢驗(yàn)合格的，不準(zhǔn)出口。
