1.chill應(yīng)該解釋為 寒冷；寒心；寒意等比較讓人從心眼里感覺比較不溫暖。僅僅這個(gè)單詞是這么理解但是要是和別的單詞一組合那就不是這么讓人感覺寒心了。
例如，just與chill組合的意思可以理解為放輕松點(diǎn)，不著急！下面舉例說明：
Helen : Just chill out. We've got plenty of time.

Trev: Just chill, brother! Hey Wei, time for another one.
崔佛：冷靜點(diǎn)，兄弟！嘿，小薇，再喝一杯吧。
2.Somebody left the water running ，在這個(gè)句子中有一個(gè)大家經(jīng)常見到的語法。那就是
sb. leave sth doing 可以理解為某人使某物處于xxx狀態(tài)。
Somebody left the water running就可以解釋為有人使水龍頭處于開著的狀態(tài)，那么也就是有人忘記了關(guān)水龍頭。
跟leave 有關(guān)的用法還有很多，例如：leave sb doing sth讓某人一直做某事，賓語與賓補(bǔ)之間是邏輯上的主動(dòng)關(guān)系，表進(jìn)行。
it is wrong of you to leave the machine running.
leave sth to be done留下某事要做，不定式表將來。
We hurriedly ended our meeting,leaving many problems to be settled.
3.Take it easy 和上面的just chill 意思很相似 都表示從容；不急。但是take it easy 還可以理解為輕點(diǎn)，小心點(diǎn)。
A: Take it easy. Don’t work so hard.
